Quick Update

Hi everyone, just wanted to say thank you for the prayers and well wishes. Mom is doing fine, she's recovering well and in very high spirits. She does have cancer and the lymphnodes under her arm were removed. We will not have any results until Wednesday when we go for post op and instruction on which Oncologist she will need to see for treatment.

I'll keep you guys posted on the results and what will be going on.

Step Away from the Computer!

Jeez, guys I go away for a week and you all go crazy posting! Wow such wonderful stuff I've spent literally 2 days reading and commenting on posts. I can also tell that spring is coming to much of the blog world because of the posting, everyone is out of their winter stupor and jumping with ideas and creativity.

We went to Helen, GA. and had a great time we visited a few waterfalls, vineyard (yes they have them and they are amazing) caught snow in the Smokies and rested in a little cabin that was wonderful.

I downloaded my pics and the server crashed, I got 77 pics of 123, lost 46 of them mostly water falls, snow and some of the most interesting blooming trees. After a good cry, I decided that I can't really do anything about it so... we'll move on.

I took my Greenjeans sweater to knit on the trip up and down and am almost done with one sleeve, but in the midst of all that knitting I craved my looms, I worked on the Pink Scarf that's on the RH last night and plan on finishing it this weekend. I toyed with the Structo, and finally finished my inkle strap. I may do some creative sewing this weekend with the beaded fabric, strap and more beading. I have an idea brewing.

Yes, I'm still here

The few that are still in tune with my blog, and I stress few, have asked WHHHHAAAATTSSSS UUUUPPPP!, or better yet did you fall off the planet? No I'm here, but have had some issues this past month. I dealt and am still dealing with a kidney infection that seems to be oblivious to antibiotic, I'm on my fourth script, really enough already. Then I hurt my left hand pulled a tendon bruised my thumb, you know, you think that digit it really not necessary but I'll tell you, try to open any child proof cap for the 15th time and your other digits hurt just for trying. Needless to say I was not much for weaving, knitting I could do but not much.

Since I've recovered, I have been toying with warping my loom, which has been nekkid for FOUR, yeah I checked (4) months **sigh** such horror. I will have some warp and some weft hopefully on by the weekend and ready to put out some work.
