Mitered Baby Blanket

This is the progress on the mitered baby blanket, I know I promised no endless photos of mitered squares, but I thought I would share with you what I've been up to. I like the colors and the design I came up with, what I don't like is the reverse side, can anyone say, sloppy and messy looking, ugh!! I think I'm going to sew a complimentary piece of material on the other side and keep all the mess between the fabrics, I'll have to think about how to accomplish that with out it looking like a big pillow case. Maybe with some quilt stitching which I've never done, but I guess I'll try.

Well, welcome back to blogger! I'm sorry wordpress didn't work out. I've dabbled with it a little, but never tried to upload any photos. Could you have optimized your own photos before uploading?

I love how the mitered blanket is coming along. Great colors. I know what you mean about the back sides of knitting. I have yet to figure out how to make mine neater.

I'm not a computer geek, so I really don't know about optimizing for space, and quite frankly I really don't have the time to worry about it so I have to muddle through blogger and it's tempramental stages, hehe.

Thank on the blanket, I have read all my knitting books and none really deal with messy backside of the knitting, so I'll go with my idea and see if it works out.
